Replication has not been observed in amphibian or mammalian cell lines. Brook trout 4 weeks of age die 1-4 weeks after feeding on virus. Stable at -20C (7 yrs) or at 4C (in 50% glycerol).
This preparation has tested positive for A. laidlawii.
